ESPN asked the Purdue Guitar Lab for a guitar to feature on Monday Night Football, and Mark French asked me to lead the project.
I coordinated the design with ESPN, brought in Wilson for real football leather, and recruited Purdue football’s equipment staff to prepare it. Mark French and I built the guitar at the Guitar Lab.
Then I played it on air at Lucas Oil Stadium, with the Colts drumline behind me and ESPN’s Jason Kelce on my keytar.
